They carried out a survey of the area and met the MLA Mr. Kanaka Reddy to discuss the problems they had identified. They had to approach the MLA twice in order to have an effective discussion. Mr. Reddy was impressed with their work and asked the Alwal Corporator to take immediate action on the issues they had raised. The details of the problems were sent to GHMC Municipal Commissioner Mr. B Janardhan Reddy also, for action.

Next, the students visited the GHMC office and discussed problems regarding the the condition of the road, especially its sanitation, with the Deputy Commissioner Mr. A. Ramesh. Mr. Ramesh assured the students that he will take immediate action.

As promised, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the place the very next day along with his team. They cleaned up the road and assured the citizens in the area that it would relaid soon. This transformation of the area opened the eyes of the local citizenry and changed their mindset about participating in local civic issues.
