The Bala Janaagraha alumni of Guru Nanak School saw an old man, who was sick and weak, living on the pavement. With the help of the Police, they called an ambulance and took the person to the hospital, where he was treated.

The children did not stop with that. Seeing the miserable plight of the other people who live on the pavements, they raised funds from their teachers and with the money, bought cloth from different tailors. They then had quilts made out of the cloth and distributed the quilts among the poor people.
